AYA妳好，

今天接到一位新客戶來信，說要到台灣訪問我司，很不巧的那天剛好也有另一位客戶來訪，我該如何跟他們說希望能把來訪日期延後呢？

Dear Carrie,

AYA 也經常碰到客人來訪撞期的情形，還曾經一天接待好幾攤客人，早上一攤，午餐一攤，下午茶一攤，晚餐一攤，然後再續攤 ... 哈哈！

客人專程來訪，應該不會只在台灣停留一天吧？是否可以請他延後一天，或是當天把時間錯開？當然在說明原因的時候，最好不要跟他說，你是因為有另一位客人來訪，所以才請他改期，最好是另編理由，例如：那天剛好出差；或是那天剛好有幾批貨要出，你必須親自到碼頭或是工廠去驗貨 … 之類的，這樣比較不會失禮（也顯得自己好像很忙，嘻嘻！）當然如果你不擅此道，也可以直接跟他說『 因故 』無法於當天接待他，請他改時間。至於如何寫，以下幾種版本供你參考 ：


1) It is so great to know that you will visit our company on Oct. 25th. Unfortunately, I will be on a business trip during Oct. 24th - 25th, and will be back on Oct. 26th.

If possible, please extend your visit date to be Oct. 26th.
Your confirmation will be greatly appreciated.

很高興知道你將於 10 月25 日來訪，但很不湊巧的，我 10 月 24 日至 25 日必須出差，26 日才會回來。如果可以的話，是否可以將來訪日期延到 26 日？


2)  I am very happy to learn that you will visit our factory on Oct. 25th morning.  I will be very appreciated if you could extend the meeting time to be in the afternoon of Oct. 25th because I will be out of office in the morning for shipping inspection. Surely, Oct. 26^th whole day is more convenient for me.

很開心得知你將於 10 月 25 日上午來訪，如果方便的話，是否可以將時間延到當天下午？因為 25 日上午我必須外出驗貨，當然如果可以改到 26 日的話，那更感激了，我整天都有時間奉陪。


3) It is my pleasure to know that you are going to visit our company on Oct. 25th. I am anxious to meet you, but unfortunately, my boss and I have a  fixed schedule to another city to inspect the goods at our OEM factory  at the same date.

If you could kindly amend the visit date to be Oct. 26th which will be helpful for us. Hopefully, this will not cause you any troubles.

很榮幸得知你將於 10 月 25 日來訪，我很期待與你見面，但我老闆當天已有一既定行程必須到外縣市的 OEM工廠去驗貨，所以如果你可以將時間改至 26 日，將十分感激，但願不會造成你的困擾。
